This was a intimate wedding at Colonial Park in Franklin Township, New Jersey.
Intimate weddings should have professional photographers to cover those special moments. “Uncle Joe” might have a nice camera and amateur skills. But he will be a guest at the wedding, by booking a pro, the couple can rest assure that they’ll have gorgeous memories and at the same time, “Uncle Joe” can enjoy the celebration…

Halloween themed wedding held at an historic setting: the Washington Crossing Inn, where General George Washington and his troops made the famous crossing … Fall/Halloween colors… Before the reception, a family member brought the couple’s pets for them to have pics taken with the bride & groom, it’s seems like a big trend either using their beloved pets in engagement sessions or at the actual wedding day… The owners of the venue also stopped by to say hi to the couple in époque clothing reminiscent of the 1700s…

Presenting Julia and Michael’s big day at The Shadowbrook, Shrewsbury. Ceremony was held at the front gazebo, cocktail hour at an intimate garden, followed by a buffet style dinner… But there was something else about this wedding that made it unique, the couple prepared a great evening of exciting entertainment with the people from tumbling-dice.com.
A room was set up as a Casino with Craps, Roulette, Poker and Black Jack tables. How the gambling worked? Each guest got $1000 (not real money…) to play. The Bride & Groom, wedding party and guests had so much fun and at the end of the evening there were two huge gift baskets with goodies as prizes for the winners.

Our Friend Georgianne from Monday Flowers took care of the flower needs… The Bride’s bouquet: red roses, white callas, some tulle, and white and black feathers, similar work on the Groom’s boutonniere.

This was a very colorful wedding that we recently blogged about… We thought posting K & J’s wedding photos in B&W to give them a complete different turn… The Festiva Yacht is a very nice option for a wedding, their tours include the Statue of Liberty, East and Hudson River, with breathtaking views of the spectacular New York City skyline as seen in our photos…

Brides & Grooms, remember when turning your digital color wedding pictures to B&W, you have to correct the contrast… For some reason, Photoshop or any other photo enhancing programs, aren’t smart enough to give them a perfect bright look…

Mr. and Mrs. Kollmer had a very special wedding and went above and beyond creative on board of the Festiva Yacht…
The Bride had hand made most of the details for her big day… Main color theme: pale blue along with touches of green, damascus, rose, lilac… Her bouquet was completely made out of decorated cardboard adding small ivory flowers… For her bridesmaids, amazing wind mills with matching colors instead of the traditional bouquets… Her simple yet gorgeous ivory gown had a blue ribbon for a touch of color… For the groom and groomsmen, small windmills, again with matching colors as boutonnieres… Instead of having flower arrangements for tables centerpieces, she did more wind mills in plain matching colors cardboard inserted into pails… For a flurry of magical bubbles she placed the tinny bottles with a delicate blue ribbon in a cute pail handled to guests while arriving to the Ceremony. There was also a fully decorated bubble machine for the flower girl and ring bearer to play with during the whole evening… Over a table, a cardboard with a tree with photos of Kyla and John during their engaged days, that was the spot were tiny leaves were supposed to be placed with a small message to the B & G… Even the envelope box was made by this hard working Bride…
At the Ceremony, one of the Bridesmaids read “I love you so…” (by Marianne Richmond) with sweet touching words… The vows were also particularly special, made the guests laugh or fall into tears, even us, we got a little distracted by them, when we usually don’t take too much attention on what’s been said focusing on doing our job… The Rings were passed on each guest asking them to make a wish for the newlyweds while in their hands… And at the end, instead of walking down the isle, they ran…
This a real DIY wedding… They did hire though, a Pro Photographer making sure the photo aspect of their big day was properly covered !!!
