Almost One Year After the Groom’s Sister Sent us a Gorgeous Comment, Thought we Should Re-Blog…
We have always passed the Neshanic vicinity when heading to Flemington, never thought we would get to shot a wedding there… A late 19 Century four storey mill next to the Neshanic Station Railroad Bridge, typical landmark to the area, was the perfect setting for Devon and Joe’s big day. That historic mill today is home to a family, the decoration is perfectly accomplished with objects such as an old stove/calefactor, an antique cash register machine, in each corner you see effects from the past used very thoughtfully as embellishments matching it’s atmosphere. To complete the tribute to “vintage”, the wedding had an Old Time Music band.
When the couple’s mother contacted us, she told us they were looking for a more “candid” style photography approach…
No wedding party, short dress, no tuxedo, even little “Peter”, the family’s pet, was also part of the celebration… Again, not a traditional wedding.
