Presenting a portrait photoshot done a few weeks ago. The idea was to capture the subject “in the field” getting the essence of her personality more at ease, opposed to studio photos that are more intimidating. This type of portrait is also called “environmental portrait”, a person surrounded with elements of his/her life.
Photoshot for Heba, the owner of Tresorie Custom Framing, French Mats and Art Gallery. Heba is one of the few artists that does French Mattting, a technique in which she applies transparent watercolor, washes, and fine hand-inked lines around the perimeter of the matted work of framed art.
