Gorgeous Lulu was part of an engagement photoshoot yesterday at the Riverside Gardens Park in Red Bank… She wasn’t in all the photos, so as an assistant, I enjoyed baby-sitting this lovely pug while their owners got more pics taken… Of course, the couple’s photos will be hitting the blog soon…

Gay Marriage has been and still is a controversial issue… But, at the end, when you think about the Constitution of the United States of America, Civil Rights, etc, there is no way you don’t want others to have the same rights because of their sexual orientation. Not allowing same sex unions, means homosexuals don’t have the same rights as heterosexuals do, it would be like there are first and second class citizens, it’s another form of discrimination. So the State of NY, got the votes to legalize it yesterday, did justice to human rights, another big step for all Americans to be equals…
America is progressive: 4 Republicans listened to what people of their State had to say about the matter, reconsidered their positions, not being stubborn, making them proof of how Senators listen to their constituents… True democracy: “by the people, for the people”. Way to go America, there is a lot more work ahead, but you will get there, no wonder you are the Greatest !!! God bless America !!!

Jennifer and Jeremy had their engagement photos taken at his 7 generations family owned farm… Oh wow, so the roots are from sometime in the 1700s, but today using modern technology as a way of taking care of business…
Jeremy spends his free time flying… He’s a pilot, and had his Cessna in the grounds, so we used the red aircraft for the pictures too… So cool !!!
Their German Sheppard, Tootsy, joined them at the end of the photoshoot…

For this cute couple, Matawan is the area where they live… Close by, Holmdel Park, is the spot they go often to walk, so they picked it for their engagement pictures… Also in it’s grounds, you have a special attraction: Longstreet Farm… About the farm: “It is a living history ranch where staff dressed in epoch dress re-create Monmouth County’s turn of the century farming life”… Here are some of the photos we took… 🙂

We have always passed the Neshanic vicinity when heading to Flemington, never thought we would get to shot a wedding there… A late 19 Century four storey mill next to the Neshanic Station Railroad Bridge, typical landmark to the area, was the perfect setting for Devon and Joe’s big day. That historic mill today is home to a family, the decoration is perfectly accomplished with objects such as an old stove/calefactor, an antique cash register machine, in each corner you see effects from the past used very thoughtfully as embellishments matching it’s atmosphere. To complete the tribute to “vintage”, the wedding had an Old Time Music band.
When the couple’s mother contacted us, she told us they were looking for a more “candid” style photography approach…
No wedding party, short dress, no tuxedo, even little “Peter”, the family’s pet, was also part of the celebration… Again, not a traditional wedding.
With no time restrictions, we were able to cross the Raritan River through the Elm Street Bridge (equally old) which is just a few steps to the mill and got a lot of amazing images we are sharing here… 🙂
