Weddings are about celebrating the start of a couple’s life together surrounded by family and friends… Photobooths are a great addition to make the party even more enjoyable… All guests are invited to come into the Photobooth and make funny faces in front of the camera… Late night, the Bride and Groom receive all pics taken in a nice book for them to review after the wedding is over… They sure enjoy going through all those pics… Even the photographers get fun photos from the small room in which things can go wild…

Unique Hairstyle !!!

Going through our files we found these jewels from a Wedding held at The Perona Farms in Andover, Sparta… The father of the Bride had a unique haircut: the initials of the couples names stamped/carved in the back of his head… Very creative way to honor his daughter and soon in law in their big day…  Great attitude, he surprised us all !!! We ended up having fun wedding pics…

Our Blog’s First Birthday…

Almost 10,000 views and 90 posts after… We were working for some time on the idea of using this popular online tool… It’s been a year !!!… Truth is at the beginning we were not sure about the results, so far, all people who talk about how useful blogs are, were absolutely right… It has positioned us higher in google searches, helping us reaching out more couples through tags to venue names, etc…

It’s been a long year of writing about our experiences, also about what we think is relevant info to Brides and Grooms, posting wedding photographs, and why not, writing about some personal stuff to make it friendlier showing our human side… 😉

Today’s couples are “computer savvy”, why not handle them with info that might be interesting… Us, being photographers, we provide them with wedding photos to check our professionalism, quality, flexibility-easiness, our capability in mixing styles and most importantly, reflecting our passion !!!

After you booked your Photog… What’s next ???

We believe in building strong relationships with Couples that booked us and to do so, it is crucial contacting them in a timely manner since the wedding preparation months are sensitive unknown zone for them… So, once they signed the contract, we mark down not only the wedding date in our calendar, but immediately the other dates we will be reaching out to them in the following ways:

1. We contact them on an early day of week of the wedding to confirm all timings… This makes the Couple feel relaxed knowing we are on top of every detail of their big day going again through all timings, etc.
2. Call/email the Bride and/or Groom one month prior to the wedding, providing them with the photochecklist and checking if there are any changes in the timings or locations.
3. Three months before, we call/email them to ask if they have any questions or concerns.
4. Send a postcard for the Holidays, if they booked us ahead of time, a postcard makes them feel they are in our thoughts… they love this touch…
5. If they booked us more than a year previous to the big day, we call/email them on the 365 days to their wedding…

Bridezillas ??? Really ???

We hear this word and it makes us think of a gorgeous Bride who is freaking out about everything… You get to see wild ones on TV, but those are performing for “good” TV shows… From our experience, there is no such thing as: Bridezillas… All Brides are more or less nervous in their wedding day, they could get frustrated from little details not going the way they were supposed to… But they shouldn’t be called Bridezillas for that…

Fortunately we haven’t had any Brides emulate the TV ones… At the end, a Bride wouldn’t want to ruin her wedding photos by overreacting on things going wrong letting those feelings show in her pictures… Because that is a fact, all emotions show in pictures…

We’ve had had Brides going through some things that were out of their control, like ugly climate conditions not letting them have their dreamed outdoor ceremony or by a hair style not done quite the way it was supposed to… But, we have always seen those Brides taking those things graciously with no drama…

Brides: In the wedding consult with your photographer, it is a good point to talk about: how emotions show in photos… Please don’t stress out about anything, enjoy your day assuring the making of beautiful wedding pictures/memories !!!

The Water’s Edge Wedding Photos

The Water’s Edge in Sea Bright is a great place to have a beach wedding… Kristen and Joshua came all the way from Texas for their wedding at the Jersey Shore because the Bride’s family are from NJ. As you can see, the ring bearer has a Texan hat, so cute… We will never forget part of this Bride’s review to us: “Nobody has wedding pictures like ours”, it was a nice compliment… Here are some photos taken in a gorgeous summer day…
